What do you do when you see a person from school when you're nearly getting zzz's while having your pedicure? or while struggling with the mozarella cheese of your pizza? or while trying to catch up with your mom's fast walking steps?
Janis: Oh, I love seeing a teacher outside of school. It's like seeing a dog walk on it's hind legs.
I'm sure you know someone who's been in that situation, if not you yourself. It happened to me twice this week.
Sunday- I suggested to dine at Veneto Pizzeria, Visayas Ave. I settled in a table apart from my family so I could finfish my rel project. After moments of cutting, struggling with the glue, I looked up and saw Ate Len and Ate Gigi! haha. Not a very big surprise though, because they just live in tandang sora (?) which is super close to visayas ave. I haven't had
completely absorbed the reality that after so many
months, I'm making kamustahan with Ate Len,
when Ate Chax came in!
haha! oohh, miss the TSC days with the then
Seniors Ate Kara, Ate Pakaye, Ate Macay, Ate Pao.
Friday- Mom tagged me along to this US Colleges Conference at Makati Shangri-la. While checking out kids my age and getting amazed that "gee, at least i'm not alone with parents who has the same point of view about a "bright future", I caught a glimpse of Nicole Magalong. I was hesitant to greet her for she might not know me. But it's
impossible not to see each other in such a small room. Shame on me,
she was even the
one who greeted me and introduced me to her
mom. :) We had a brief catching up and I learned that she just moved from STC to Ridley(?) in Makati. Of course, I wasn't able to notice that because I knew she got the perfect score in Algeb Exam. Well, even if we weren't that close (I got to be her classmate in Prep and I would always remember her as the girl who had generously contributed to the newspaper drive), and hardly spoke to each other , she was really nice
Good luck Nikki!
